Abstract

TVET institutions are requested to transform themselves into sustainable learning venues. The course provides deeper insights on concepts, methods and tools to inform, involve and motivate people to participate in greening processes, incl. good examples from TVET institutions becoming sustainable learning venues.  It targets persons with deeper interest in the topic “Greening TVET Institutions” with focus on Green TVET, TVET Teachers and Managers, as well as TVET experts from all levels.

    This course offers participants an overview about the range of concepts, approaches and examples that can be used to successfully shape the necessary transformation process in TVET institutions. Target group of this course are persons generally interested in the topic “Green TVET” with focus on management issues in TVET. Additionally the topic can also be interesting for TVET teaching personnel, experts and management staff as well as private sector stakeholders. Furthermore, decision makers from political level and institutions can receive suggestions for their daily work.

  • 19.9252.8-023.00GT-002.02 Greening TVET Institutions - Characteristics & Approach (on request available for groups with individual timing)

    TVET institutions are requested to transform themselves into sustainable learning venues. With reference to the relevant international activities, the participants will learn what requirements are placed on sustainable learning locations, features that characterize Green TVET institutions as well as accompanying conditions. It targets persons with deeper interest in the topic “Greening TVET Institutions” with focus on Green TVET, TVET Teachers and Managers, as well as TVET experts from all levels.

  • 19.9252.8-024.00GT-002.03 Greening TVET Institutions - Reference Systems (on request available for groups with individual timing)

    TVET institutions are requested to transform themselves into sustainable learning venues. This course provides deeper knowledge on reference systems to implement green issues in TVET institutions, including ISO standards on environmental and energy management, the initiative CSR as well as the Eco Schools programme.  .It targets persons with deeper interest in the topic “Greening TVET Institutions” with focus on Green TVET, TVET Teachers and Managers, as well as TVET experts from all levels.
