Abstract
This course offers a deep dive into quantitative methods used to measure employment effects. The focus of the course will be on the methods and their application to improve the measurement of employment effects in the participants’ projects.
Learning objectives
During this course you will:
- gain an overview of methods for measuring, monitoring and evaluating employment and of current trends
- learn about the particularities of employment measurement and GIZ´s key employment indicators
- get an introduction into rigorous impact evaluation
- understand how other international organisations measure employment effects
- listen to first-hand experience of development cooperation projects
- be able to present and discuss individual challenges and questions
