This course promotes careful behaviour in situations of strain as well as in dealing with traumatic experiences.

You are prepared for possible factors of strain and stress in your partner country and know how to carefully handle people in exceptional circumstances and situations of extraordinary pressure.

This course includes the following topics:

• Potential factors of strain during deployments abroad
• Types and impacts of stress, crises and extreme situations
• Dealing with people in exceptional circumstances and situations of extraordinary pressure
• Dealing with emotions after traumatic experiences
• Personal limits and professional help

Besides specialist input and discussions, we will also focus on role plays, and many exercises. You will reflect upon your personal behavioural patterns and develop alternative strategies.

Our trainer pool consists of experienced coaches, psychologists, and mediators.
