You are strengthened in terms of going into a constructive and partner-oriented dialogue and thus making an effective contribution to achieving the goals of sustainable development.
You can break down the principles underlying the Agenda 2030 onto your own field of activity and develop an understanding of the architecture of international cooperation. You can differentiate between German, European, and partner-country-specific positions regarding development policy concepts and can name players and their focal areas.

The SQ Portal is your online community for departing and departed experts and managers in international cooperation. The trainers have many years of experience as consultants in projects and programs of international cooperation. Besides specialist knowledge, all trainers have extensive practical experience and didactical skills.
BMZ-funded participation for experts and managers in German international cooperation and their accompanying partners
Self-funded participation for all other experts and managers, only in case free places are still available after the registration deadline (20 days before the start of the training)
This offer is part of the BMZ-financed preparation for assignments abroad. The content is not specific to GIZ.
After completing the course, you have the option of further practical counselling with your trainer.
The offers of the preparation for assignments abroad are aimed at experts and managers in German international cooperation who are preparing for their assignment in a partner country or have recently left the country, and their accompanying partners (MAP).
Newcomers and experienced participants are both welcome to join and enrich interdisciplinary learning.
Please note that applications on the waitinglist can only be considerred by way of exception.
