Abstract
In this basic course, you will get to know and will apply Result Based Monitoring (RBM) as a central instrument for steering GIZ projects.
Learning objectives
The participants can apply the essential elements of Result Based Monitoring in their projects and thus increase the effectiveness and quality of GIZ's measures.

- The GIZ Impact Model as the basis for a RBM system
- Concept, quality criteria and principles of RBM
- RBM as a steering instrument for increasing the effectiveness of projects and for quality assurance
- Introduction to the GIZ Impact Monitor

In addition to the 4 hours of online course time per day, kindly block at least 1h per day for deepening and applying the contents with the help of the self-learning materials.
Remarks
This is a basic course that imparts basic knowledge. However, you have the opportunity to bring in your own project as a case study and thereby also answer specific questions.
