QTI-001.01 Competence-Based Education and Training (CBET) (on request available for groups with individual timing)
The aims to empower teaching staff of TVET institutions and universities to improve their teaching and learning methodology by introducing them into the concept and philosophy of CBET, which is the fundament for all modern TVET approaches, methods and standards. It focusses on the transformation from traditional input-oriented teaching and rote learning to more modern, effective and outcomes-oriented approaches, focussing on the students, their learning outcomes and the world of work.

QTI-001.02 Competence-Based Curriculum Development and Mapping (on request available for groups with individual timing)
The course aims to empower management and teaching staff of TVET institutions and universities to develop competence-based curricular frameworks, syllabi and other didactical plans. Furthermore, it gives a methodology on how to analyse, compare, modify and update traditional, existing curricula and syllabi that are not competence-based with competence-based frameworks, e.g. national competence standards or competence-based occupational profiles. It is recommended, though not required, to attend the course “Competence-Based Education and Training” before this course.

This course aims to empower teaching staff of TVET institutions and universities to implement modern methods of teaching and learning. It focusses on the transformation from traditional teaching and rote learning to more effective and outcome-oriented approaches, such as work-oriented, competence-based, project and problem-based, student-centered and action-oriented teaching and learning as well as feedback and group methods. QTI-001.04 Quality Teaching in the Classroom (on request available for groups with individual timing)
This course is designed to support TVET personnel in selecting teaching methods that will lead to requested learning outcomes. The application of effective teaching methods is a key factor for the learning process and can be targeted to the acquisition of intended competencies. In this course, steps to apply these methods are described and practised so that participants are enabled to manage and quality assure learning processes, and to take important decisions towards the quality of a student’s learning. - 19.9252.8-037.00• 40 hrs (28 hrs live sessions and 12 hrs self-study/ transfer assignment)
